Abstract
The paper examines personal peculiarities of an HIV-positive convict sentenced to imprisonment. The research is based on questioning five hundred convicts serving their sentience in correction facilities in Omsk region. The author provides characteristics of an HIV-positive convict viewed from aspects of social demography, criminal law and penitentiary law.
