Abstract
In the article on a representative sample of law enforcement officers experimentally confirmed the existence of the personal and professional specifications. The study was conducted in six departments of economic security. The characterological analysis of data carried out on the results of a study of staff performing the communication, information, analytical, legal, information technology, audit, sensory-motor and information-analytical activity. At a statistically significant level (p < 0.05) using t-test the Student’s identified differences between professional groups on indicators of personality questionnaires and tests (MМIL, TTSV, FTF, РAР). In the study, special attention was paid to accentuated traits, vocational and activity-specific, and age peculiarities of the subject. In the experiment, the characteristics of individual professionals associated with the performance of their official duties (compare effective employees) that gives grounds to conclude about the feasibility of a differentiated selection of candidates on service in bodies of internal Affairs based on their personal predisposition.
